About This Course
The expansion of artificial intelligence and digital technologies is profoundly transforming daily life, how we learn, access information, and interact with one another. In this context, schools play a crucial role: not only as spaces for knowledge transmission, but also as privileged environments for fostering critical, responsible, and engaged citizens.
This MOOC offers a comprehensive approach to digital citizenship, specifically geared towards the educational field. Throughout the course, topics such as the ethical use of artificial intelligence, disinformation, coexistence in digital environments, the protection of rights, democratic participation, and the development of critical thinking are addressed.
With an accessible, interdisciplinary approach grounded in the Latin American context, the course provides conceptual and practical tools for teachers, educational teams, and social actors interested in educating for the digital age, strengthening values, responsibilities, and skills for consciously navigating the digital world.
