Series of Regional Training Workshops on Engineering Data Collection and Governance

The Third UNESCO Global Engineering Report (ER III) is currently under preparation and is scheduled for publication in 2028. ER III will provide a comprehensive, inclusive, and policy-relevant assessment of global engineering capacities, with particular attention to gender equity, emerging technologies, and regional disparities. A key component of the preparation of ER III is the strengthening of engineering data collection and governance. To support this process, UNESCO is organising a series of regional training workshops for National Focal Points and relevant stakeholders. The workshops aim to strengthen national capacities to collect, validate and manage engineering data, and to ensure that reliable and comparable information is available for the preparation of the report.
